Tiffany Ely (she/her)
Tiffany has always been drawn to the expression of spirit through movement. At a young age it was through dance, which she made into a brief career in her early twenties. After leaving the dance world, she discovered yoga via VHS tapes (gasp) and began practicing at home and at a local gym a few times a week. Yoga provided her with the perfect recipe…an invigorating physical workout with a calming effect for the mind. Years later she studied with local teachers, David Vendetti & Todd Skoglund and completed her first RYT certification with them in 2009. Then a few years after that, she enrolled in another RYT with Kelly Morris, the founder of the (now defunct) Conquering Lion Yoga in NYC, which was heavily steeped in Buddhism. Most recently she’s been studying with former Yogaworks Lead Teacher & Trainer Alexandria Crow, the creator of the Yoga Physics method, and it greatly influences the way in which she teaches now.
Her intention in class is to provide a space where you can bring strength & ease of mind & body into stasis, and come to realize that yoga is so much more than the physical movement on a mat. She believes that while she is there to guide you through a practice, you will also learn to intuit what is best for your body in each and every pose and transition.
Tiffany has been teaching in the health & wellness field in the Boston area since 2003, and to complement her yoga studies she is also an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor. To learn more about Tiffany, you can visit her website here: tiffanyoga.com
