tRISH SMITH (she/her)
Yoga has found me in every era of my life—when I was an energetic preteen, an athletic teenager, a high-performing young adult, a little older and assembling the pieces, and now again, cruising through adulthood with more curiosity and softness.
This time around, I didn’t just do yoga—I leaned in and listened to it. It became like ocean waves for my mind: soothing, rhythmic, and grounding. A space where I could challenge my body in healthy ways, and let my spirit catch its breath. Yoga became my sweet spot.
My desire to deepen this relationship led me to complete my 200-hour teacher training with Boston Yoga Union. There, I explored yoga’s philosophy and literature, alignment and adjustments, and—most importantly—my own self-awareness. I left teacher training in 2021 having a voice to guide others, just as I was guided.
In my classes, I offer a space where you get to meet yourself—exactly as you are. The top of your mat is your space. Your practice. Your intention. I know what it’s like to feel unsure, to have intrusive thoughts mid-pose, or to feel disconnected from your body. That’s okay—this practice is your tool, to use however it fits for you.
Expect movement that builds on itself, sequences that help you flow with yourself, and moments of deep rest where you can melt back into your peace. I’ll encourage you to try new things, to find alignment in your body, and enjoy the process—whether it feelssticky, magical, or somewhere in between.
Let’s practice together—and let it be yours.
