Step into the new year with intention and ease. This slow-flow vinyasa class offers a grounding, conscious, and deeply connected experience designed to build a strong foundation from the inside out. Move with freedom as you align your physical and energetic body, cultivate core strength, and explore postures with mindful attention and presence.

About David

With over 30 years of experience in meditation and yoga, David is the founder of Yoga Liberation Front and a passionate advocate for personal growth development and community organization.

As a gay, poly, and dedicated supporter of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, he champions non-violent communication, emotional intelligence, and radical education for social reform. His work emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Currently working with The Wayside Equity Center, David facilitates affinity groups and conflict resolution, helping individuals and communities gain the tools to confront internalized racism and homophobia.

His yoga teaching combines a deep sense of acceptance with spirituality, humanity, and the exploration of transformational anatomy and alignment. Known for his innovative and progressive sequences, his sessions leave participants feeling strong, open, and resilient.

David has owned and managed yoga studios for over 20 years, taught at the Trauma Center in Brookline, and traveled globally to lead workshops, festivals, and teacher training programs.

He is also a skilled bodyworker, practicing Structural Integration and massage therapy for 17 years.

David believes in uplifting others as we undo what doesn’t serve us, build the foundation for a better future, and grow together.
