NEW IN 2024: Boston Yoga Union is now comprised of two studios, Back Back in Boston and Coolidge in Brookline. We have reverted to our original name, Boston Yoga Union and refreshed our logo and brand. While refreshed and expanded, we remain committed to independent, mindful, joyous practice at both locations. The Coolidge Corner studio was formerly Coolidge Yoga, a well rooted and beloved studio in Brookline.

CLASS OFFERING: Boston Yoga Union offers a range of class types for every interest - Align, Flow, Restore and Heated Yoga classes are available, over 50 classes per week at each studio. In addition, topical workshops and trainings are offered each month for additional variety.

FORMATS: While most students find in-person, studio-based classes most rewarding, many classes are accessible via live video stream, we use Union.fit and call our offering BYUTV.

TEACHERS: Our entire teaching staff are Registered Yoga Teacher certified. We encourage new students to sample a range of teachers and classes to find the classes that resonate with them.

MATS: Mat rentals are available for $3 per use. Mat rentals are free for members or bring your own.

PROPS: Community props are made available in each of our two studio spaces - blocks, blankets, straps as well as bolsters, balls and chairs depending on your class.

STUDIO ACCESSIBILITY: The Back Bay studio is on the 2nd floor of 364 Boylston Street, accessible by elevator or stair. The Coolidge studio is on the 2nd floor of 1279 Beacon Street, but is accessed via stairs only.

PERSONAL PROPERTY: Shoes go on shoe shelves in the lobby, coat and clothing hooks are available. There are cubbies in the studio for valuables you wish to keep close, but off your mat.

WATER: There is filtered water available, bring your favorite water bottle. The Coolidge studio does have beverages for purchase as well as hot water and tea.

MOBILE PHONES: We ask that phones are silenced in the studio and not brought into the studio spaces, this is for the benefit of the community and to create mental space for your practice.

LOCATION: Boston Yoga Union - Back Bay is at 364 Boylston Street between Arlington and Berkeley Streets. Boston Yoga Union - Coolidge is at 1297 Beacon Street in Brookline near the corner of Beacon and Harvard Streets, next to the post office.
