“Rather than simply moving into poses, we explore the actions that make them possible.”

For me, yoga is a roadmap HOME. Through honest inquiry, conscious attention, and compassionate inquiry, and precision of intent, yoga invites us to understand where we are and explore the possibilities of who we might become.

For over 25 years, I have studied yoga through the lenses of asana, biomechanical alignment, philosophy, and therapeutics. My teaching draws on this experience, along with strength and conditioning training and certification in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), to integrate alignment-based yoga, joint mobility, and progressive sequencing.

Rather than simply moving into poses, we explore the actions that make them possible.

Through joint mobilization, tissue training, and thoughtfully layered sequences, we develop the strength, mobility, and coordination to move with greater freedom and awareness - all to cultivate an embodied practice that builds a body that is strong, supple, adaptable, and connected.

Known for my clarity, skill, and authenticity, I weave together precise instruction, dynamic movement, and philosophical inquiry, creating space for students to learn progressively. Classes often begin with a story or contemplation that sets the tone for our practice, reminding us that how we move can shape not only our bodies, but also our inner landscape.

My work is my passion. I also offer movement and mobility training, teacher education, workshops, and retreats. Outside the studio, I love to read, ride my bike, swim in all the water, and travel. I am also a mom to one kick ass daughter and the humble servant to my very fluffy cat.
