Katelyn is forever grateful to a friend who took her to a hot yoga class in her early 20’s. She immediately fell in love, but between school, work, and life, she struggled to maintain a consistent practice. When Katelyn moved to Boston in 2014, she joined a local yoga studio and found an incredible community that allowed her to dive deep into her practice. Yoga is a constant source of joy in Katelyn’s life; it makes the good days great and the bad days better.
Katelyn completed her 200HR in 2024 at Back Bay Yoga Union under the guidance of Tim Kelleher, Emily Jonas, Caitlyn Visconte, Sandy Klemmer, and Erica Bornstein. She credits a number of influential teachers in the Boston area with helping her develop her practice and continues to learn from them every time she steps on her mat.
Katelyn loves a fiery flow that leaves you feeling refreshed with a sense of accomplishment. She uses her knowledge of anatomy to help students strengthen their proprioceptive abilities, allowing them to learn how the body moves and prevent injury. Off the mat, you can find Katelyn travelling, reading, baking cookies, or at Salem State University, where she is a professor of athletic training.
