Rachel's journey with yoga began when she was 14, and it has been a meaningful part of her life ever since. In January 2019, she earned her RYT 200-hour teaching certification from the Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center in India. Reflecting on her journey, Rachel shares, “Yoga has always been one of the first things I look for when I come to a new place. When I moved to Boston, the first thing I searched for was a yoga studio. I feel so lucky to have found Boston Yoga Union and be a part of its incredible community.”
Rachel draws inspiration from Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga, enjoying creativity while learning from traditional practices. She approaches teaching with a focus on blending physical movement with thoughtful exploration, encouraging her students to connect with both their bodies and minds. To Rachel, yoga is a lifelong journey of discovery, and she feels grateful to share in that journey with her students.
When she’s not on her mat, Rachel works in environmental health and expresses her creativity as a local pottery artist.
