Elizabeth was first introduced to yoga as a child as a cross-training technique for equestrian vaulting, a sport that combines the poses of yoga and gymnastics with the artistry of dance, all on top of a horse. But her current yoga practice really began during a search for chronic pain management for injuries sustained competing in equestrian vaulting. She stayed for more than just the healing of asana but because she began to feel the benefits of a deeper mindfulness practice and the joy of being part of a supportive yoga community.
Elizabeth completed her 200-RYT certificate at Coolidge Yoga and strives to blend meditation, breath practice and movement into a practice that is accessible to all students while encouraging them to break habits and leave the studio feeling both settled in their mind and empowered in their body.
