Spend the afternoon learning to confidently deliver intelligent, sound adjustments regardless of the style of yoga that you teach!
Come for a very “hands-on” workshop at Boston Yoga Union.
An Adjustment is an opportunity to be in greater contact with a student and whether through words or touch to share and guide that student towards a place of greater understanding in their body. It takes practice and skill to guide a room full of students while delivering intelligent and informed adjustments, regardless of the style of class that you teach. Come learn new techniques and practice making good contact through adjustments
In this workshop you will:
Explore the geometry, structure and theory of the adjustments
Learn to deliver stable, transformative adjustments
Learn to look at a body in a pose
Practice giving and receiving adjustments
Come prepared to practice, adjust and be adjusted
You will walk away from the session with a new sense of confidence about your ability to teach with your hands, and some new techniques to weave into your classes to inspire your students!
Price: $75
When: Saturday, April 5 at 1:00-3:00PM
