How we end things is just as important as how we begin them
Join Neelou Malekpour for a two-part workshop to release everything from 2023 that needs to go and create space to begin 2024 with a clean slate! The workshop will include journaling prompts, meditation, and a transformational breathwork session. We’ll end with a visualization technique called a Future Imagined Memory to welcome in a magical 2024.
ABOUT BREATHWORK:
Breathwork is an experience based in wholeness. It is a powerful healing modality utilizing the breath to heal old patterns, dislodge stuck energy, and balance the chakras. Practicing in a group setting has a powerful collective healing energy that facilitates deep release. The style of breathwork Neelou teaches incorporates a two-part breath and an exhale. It's as simple as it is transformational and works to restore the healthy flow of Qi in our bodies. By breathing deeply you oxygenate the areas of your body that need extra attention, releasing any blockages, or stuckness, in order to release the energy to flow freely.
The health benefits are truly transformational • Boosts your circulation • Reduces stress • Creates feelings of openness • Connects you to feelings of love, peace, gratitude, clarity, communication, and connection • Helps release mental and physical trauma • Assists in healing from grief • And alleviates anxiety and depression
BEST PRACTICES:
Keep your meals light or fast for the day - you won't feel comfortable breathing if you're full
Bring water and something to cover your eyes with.
Brin your own mat or rent one from the studio
Give yourself some space after the session
It's best not to have to rush, drive, or be around a lot of people in the hours following your breathwork session
We suggest you take it easy for the remainder of the evening if possible
Drink LOTS of water after your session to facilitate release
